Hydronic heating and radiant floor heat in Yakima
Slab loops, manifolds, boilers and snowmelt, piped by the same licensed Yakima contractor that does the plumbing.
Chapter 01
Radiant Floor Heat: loops in the slab, manifolds on the wall
We design and install radiant heating systems for businesses, homes and warehouses. The heat comes from PEX loops laid in the floor and fed from a manifold, so the floor itself becomes the radiator. Nothing hangs from the ceiling and nothing blows dust around the room.
Loop layout and manifold balancing decide whether a slab heats evenly. Loops that run too long go cool at the far end, and a manifold that isn't balanced starves its last circuits. That work happens on the plywood and in the pour prep, long before anyone sees a finished floor. We've been installing piping in the Yakima Valley for more than 20 years, and radiant is some of the most visible proof of it: a whole warehouse floor of serpentine loops, laid out before the concrete goes in.

Hydronic Heating: the mechanical room side
Hydronic Heating means hot or chilled water moving through piping to do the work. We install hydronic systems for your building: boilers, pumps and the piping between them, plus chillers, VAV boxes, fan coil units and more.
The mechanical room is where most of these systems are won or lost. Clean runs, valves you can reach, a pump on a pad with room to service it. When the same contractor pipes the water heaters, the gas and the heating loop, the room stays coherent instead of reading like three crews' leftovers.
Chapter 03
Snowmelt: stop shoveling
A snowmelt system runs heated loops under a deck, a driveway or any other area where snow piles up, so the surface clears itself and the shovel stays in the shed.
Drainage is half the design. Melting snow only helps if the water has somewhere to go, so a snowmelt system has to melt the snow and direct the moisture away from your property. The loop and manifold logic is the same as a heated slab, with the drain path planned from the first drawing.

How a radiant slab comes together
On a radiant job the manifolds feed the loops. Each manifold collects a bundle of PEX circuits, and each circuit runs out to the slab and back, so the manifold is where the whole floor gets balanced. These are our own manifolds, with the loops dropping to the slab below.

Job note
The heated water starts in the mechanical room, with the pump on its pad and the risers painted and labeled where you can reach them. From there it travels to the manifolds, and from the manifolds to every loop in the floor.
