Commercial plumbing and mechanical piping in Yakima

A 15-person commercial team for new buildings, remodels, mechanical rooms and medical gas, working out of 12 South 3rd Avenue.

Chapter 01

What stalls a commercial job

A plumbing rough-in that arrives late or wrong holds up the drywall, the inspections and every trade stacked behind it. On a commercial site that delay is rarely one big mistake. It's an undersized water service, a waste line that can't carry the fixture count on the drawings, or gas and air piping nobody planned around the equipment it feeds.

A plumbing issue can stall your large-scale commercial or industrial project, and the fix is almost always upstream. Read the plans against the equipment schedule early, ask the question before the pipe goes into the wall, and the rest of the schedule keeps moving. Apex does that on new buildings and on remodels in Yakima, Toppenish and Sunnyside.

How the team runs a building

There's no project too big for our 15-person commercial team to handle, and the company has been in this business for more than 20 years. That crew installs new water service and waste lines, boilers and commercial size water heaters, gas and air piping, restaurant fit-outs, and eye wash stations where the work calls for them.

The same team repairs or replaces sump pump systems, so a building that's already open doesn't need a second contractor for the basement. Work is coordinated with the general contractor's schedule, and the first step is a free consultation, not a sales pitch.

Chapter 03

Medical gas and the mechanical side

Medical Gas Piping in hospitals and other healthcare facilities is part of how patients are cared for, so experience and precision aren't optional. Apex has twenty years of experience and can handle any medical gas pipe installation. The pipe has to be right the first time because nobody gets to reopen the wall once a ward is in use.

On the mechanical side, the crew installs hydronic heating systems, chillers, VAV boxes, fan coil units and more. One contractor handling both plumbing and mechanical piping keeps the mechanical room coherent: the heaters, pumps and risers are laid out as a single job instead of three trades meeting at the last minute.

Inside the rooms nobody sees

Most of what we install ends up behind a door marked mechanical: two heaters, a filter bank, a pump on its pad, the risers that feed a floor, and the valves someone will need to find in ten years. Rooms like these are why a single crew on piping matters. If the building also needs a heated slab or a boiler loop, that work is on our hydronic and radiant heating page, and plant-side work sits under industrial plumbing.
